Firstly, just simply go to the main screen, then use your left analog stick or cursor and hover over the icon with three lines. Just click on that icon and straight away go to game settings, the first option available. After that, straight top the bottom to Cross-Platform Play. Finally, you have the choice whether to toggle it to Enable or Disable.

For more competition for players on console, we’d recommend enabling the feature as we found it much harder going against PC players when paired up in an online ranked game.

Not want to lose your winning streak or want to test out a deck? Sure! Just hop into a casual match. By playing a casual match you will not lose your winning streak, so you don’t have to worry when you lose a duel.

Want to level up with slightly easier? Then disable the cross-platform feature as we’ve found out that most casual players or beginners that play Yu-Gi-Oh! are console players.

However, when you reach gold rank, it does get slightly more challenging as expected but not as difficult as playing against players on PC.  And that’s as simple as that! Now you can duel across platforms in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.

BEWARE! This function only works on PlayStation and Xbox consoles as PC, mobile devices and Nintendo Switch do not support this feature.
