Chamber 14 can't beat us!

Even though many puzzle lovers (including me) expected Portal 2 to receive a sequel, we got a community build mod called Portal Revolution. And although we’re talking about a mod, this has the real feel of the old Portal game, I must say.

Portal Revolution The Diversion Chapter Chamber 14 Walkthrough

In order to solve Chamber 14, you need to work around the Main Chamber power breaker that controls the launching platform. Keep reading for a detailed walkthrough.

Phase 1

The first thing you need to do is land yourself on the mini first floor in the room with the red button that spawns a cube for you. You can do this by shooting one portal on the wall tile, right in front of your spawn (the launching platform) and another one on the middle tiles just to your right. Once you’ve catapulted yourself there, press the button to get the cube.

Phase 2

If you leave the 2 original portals open from the previous step, the cube will spawn, fall on the launching platform that you jumped off of earlier, and hop into your robotic arms. Jump down to the ground level, walk to the Main Chamber power breaker, drop your cube, and turn off the power in the room.

Now, shoot one portal next to the launching platform/your original spawn and one and one to your left so you can walk into it. Grab the cube, go through the portal, and leave the cube on the launching platform. You’ll notice that the platform won’t send the cube flying now when there’s no power.

Phase 3

Go back where you came from so you’re once again on the ground floor. Shoot one portal to that tile in front of the launching platform and another one on a ground tile sitting in the corner of the room, behind a glass, directed at the exit. Now you have everything prepared.

Turn the power back on and watch the cube launch itself into the area where it will fall on the button that will unlock the escape door. The only thing you need to do now is get yourself over there. Shoot one portal on the tile facing the exit door and another one on your arrival point where the launching platform is.

Walk to your spawn point, keep whichever portal you put on the tile facing the exit, and reuse the portal you used to walk on the spawn point on the tile in front of the launching platform. Now, walk into the platform and let it send you flying to your exit.
