VR gaming isn’t the juggernaut force many companies want it to be yet, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t stopped trying. Companies like Facebook, PlayStation, and Valve have been hard at hard releasing their own headsets and games trying to push VR forward. While these larger corporations work on their own products, that also means that indie developers are also doing the same. One of these developers is Cyborn, who has been working on their VR title Hubris for the past three years. In this guide, you’ll learn the game’s system requirements and how to play it.

What is Hubris

Hubris follows the story of a recruit working for the Order of Objectivity as they search for a missing agent named Cyana. The gameplay includes shooting, climbing, and jumping freely in a VR setting. Players will fight against humanoid and alien enemies as they craft weapons and equipment to help their chances at survival. Here’s what Cyborn CEO Ives Agemans had to say about the game: “It feels like VR is really starting to hit its stride, and we’re so excited for Hubris to be part of a wave of games really pushing the boundaries of the new technology behind it.”

  • Processor: Core i5-7500 / Ryzen 5 1600
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GTX 1080 / RX 580 – 6GB VRAM
  • Storage: 20 GB available space
  • VR Support: OpenXR
