Pokémon Scarlet and Violet introduces players to a new type of bonding with our Pokémon and that is at the Picnic table. Here, players can interact with their Pokémon, through feeding, talking and playing, boosting your friendship with your Pokémon party and obtaining some useful, although temporary abilities through feasting. This Picnic aspect is not compulsory, but players can get great and useful rewards by taking a break from wandering around Paldea. What is Whipped Cream Used for in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
Whipped Cream can be purchased by players in specific stores around Paldea. This ingredient is used to make sweet sandwiches for the Pokémon in your active party through the Picnic part of Scarlet and Violet. The meals in a Picnic given to your Pokémon offer temporary Party abilities which help the player in catching Pokémon or obtaining more dropped loot.
These Meal Powers are:
- Catching – Increase your catching a specific Pokémon-Type chances.
- EXP – Earn more EXP Points after knocking out a specific Pokémon.
- Egg – Locator for Picnic basket Pokémon eggs.
- Encounter – Increases your chances of locating a certain Pokémon in Paldea.
- Humungo – Increases your chances of locating a certain large Pokémon.
- Teensy – Increases your chances of locating a certain small Pokémon.
- Title – Increases your chances of locating a Pokémon with a title.
- Sparkling – Increases your chances of locating a Shiny Pokémon.
- Item Drop – Increases the dropped item rate from certain Pokémon.
- Raid – Obtain more items dropped by a Tera Raid Pokémon.

Where to Find Whipped Cream
Players can find Whipped Cream in multiple spots around Paldea. The first and easiest to find is in Artisan Bakery in Mesagoza. Players should head to Paldea’s central city, Mesagoza and go to the left side of the city where there are multiple food stalls. Refer to the screenshot below for the exact location of Artisan Bakery (the black circle). Here you will find various ingredients relevant to making sweet sandwiches such as Jam, Marmalade and Yogurt. This shop also includes addition flavours to add to savoury sandwiches such as Ketchup, Onion and Olive Oil.
Whipped Cream can also be found in the Artisan Bakery in the Porto Marinada Market, north of the Asado Desert and east of West Province (Area Two). Here, players can locate Artisan Bakery on the aisle on the far-right side of Markets (from the staircase). The pricing of this item is the same in both shops, so this is simply a helpful place to pick up ingredients if you happen to be nearby when heading for a Mass Outbreak.
Players can also travel to Levincia and enter the Aquiesta Supermarket. Levincia can be found on the eastern side of the Paldea map. Here, players can find many ingredients, including that of rarer items such as Wasabi and Klawf Sticks. Again, Whipped Cream can be purchased here, with a pricing of 200 Pokémon Dollars, the same as when purchasing in Mesagoza or in Porto Marinada Market.
