Fixing the Account Region Locked Bug in World of Warcraft
There has been quite a number of players mainly from Germany and Austria that reported this error showing for them. Although not everyone from those countries received that error, some of them did and were unable to play due to it.
The quickest fix for this issue is to restart your Battle.net client after which you will get a small patch from Blizzard. Upon the installation of the patch, things should be working as usual. It seems that it was a bug on their side and they swiftly fixed it.
If you are still encountering the issue, make sure that you aren’t connected to any sort of VPN. Many people use VPNs for work and would forget to turn them off when it’s gaming time, and a lot of games don’t like this circumventing software so they bug when they notice one.
