What you’ll need

In order to start brewing drinks, you’ll need a few things first:

  • A Still
  • Plants or fruit
  • Empty barrels

You can construct the Still in your outpost through the workshops menu in the building tab. You will need one resource of your choosing to build it.

You can use the gathering tool to select a large swathe of ground to order your gatherers to pick up all the fruits and plants in that area. They will deposit everything they find in a plant barrel.

For you to brew drinks effectively, you may want to create a new stockpile that only allows barrels of food and / or drink. Make a whole bunch of barrels and shove them all in the stockpile to make room for the drinks.

Once everything is in order, you can begin!

They will collect an empty barrel and some ingredients and will get to brewing. As soon as they are done, they will place the barrel in the corresponding stockpile, and all the dwarves will drink as they please.
