GOG Galaxy 2.0 has added Epic Games Store integration into the client. Users can now have their entire collection of Epic Games titles inside of GOG Galaxy. While this feature existed previously, it is now officially supported.
GOG Galaxy 2.0 Epic Games Store Integration
The first integration with support was Xbox Live, making Epic Games store the second officially supported library. Integration with other libraries like Origin, Steam, and Uplay is currently possible with unsupported third-party plugins. We can imagine these additional libraries are in the pipeline.
For those of you who are not familiar with GOG Galaxy 2.0, it’s a tool to keep all your games in once place and launch them from a single client. In an age where every major corporation has its own proprietary launcher, a program like this is precious. As soon as you connect all the other libraries and launchers to GOG Galaxy, you can boot up any game in one click.
GOG Galaxy 2.0 offers a variety of features, including one library, game stats, full customization, and upcoming game discovery. Not only that, but it syncs friends list from all other platforms and puts them in a single place. Chat with friends cross-platform, track activity, and compete on the leaderboards to see who is the best completionist.
The community platform integrations allow players to connect and add more features to the client. Sync it between your devices and save your entire library into the cloud. This new version is an enhanced experience where you can keep everything in a clean-looking, easy-to-use interface.
