FromSoftware is a Japanese game development studio working on the game, famously known for its titles like BloodborneSekiro, and Souls, among many others. Elden Ring began development sometime early in 2017 following the release of the second Dark Souls III DLC. There is no official release date at this time, but we know there have been reports of delays due to the ongoing pandemic.

In a YouTube video, Jeff Grubb of GamesBeat anticipates fans won’t have to wait too much longer for the release, though nobody knows an official date as of yet. According to Jason Schreier on Twitter, there’s strong evidence that there will be an unveiling soon.

In response to another article claiming Elden Ring will be showcased on March 23, Aaron Greenberg confirmed on Twitter that this is not happening.

Elden Ring is an upcoming third-person fantasy action role-playing game coming to PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in 2021.
