So, read on to learn how you can upgrade your hero the fastest in the Dragonflight expansion.

The basics

First, you need to cover the basics, and with that, we mean complete the Main storyline. Completing the main quests will not only let you reach level 67 (almost 68) but will also unlock World Quests and the Engine of Innovation. To get to the maximum level, complete any side quests you’d like. Maybe there are recipes and similar things you would like to acquire so go for it until you’re level 70.

Completing quests by area

Each area in the game is hiding its own value so make sure you cover as much of them as you can and in the right way. You would want to start from Valdrakken in Thaldraszus and take on some weekly reputation and dungeon quests. Go to the Darkmoon Faire before you turn in any of the completed quests to get the 10% reputation bonus to maximize your character’s improvement.

Next should be the Waking Shores and different Expedition Bounties there. Make sure to complete the Dragon Scale expedition and go to the Wrathion to get the set of weekly quests that will give you a great boost.

In Ohn’ahran Plains you should pick up quests from Aylaag Camp and in Azure Span, you should farm the Cobalt Assembly. Also, you can join the community feast and fishing dailies in Azure Span for extra renown.

General advice to follow

All zones will offer you Great Hunts that will give you an array of jobs to do and when you complete them you will get a big fat award. You can repeat this quest for more rewards and every time you do it you will get a bit of reputation.

Don’t skip the Dragon riding glyphs which you can pick up throughout the Dragon Isles and their main benefit is that they can improve our Dragonriding.

When it comes to Player Power keep your eye on Spark of Ingenuity that can be found during the Engine of Innovation quest in Valdrakken. You will have an option of obtaining one of these every two weeks and they can be used to upgrade gear. If you want to get more gear focus on things like Weekly PVP Quests, Trial of Floods, and Trial of Enemies.
