One feature of World of Warcraft that has seen the most changes throughout history is the map. The most recent Dragonflight expansion is inline with this. With the return of the dragon isles to the realm, fans have found a new potential secret dragonflight mysterious island on the map.
What’s on the Island?
The subject island is not yet available on the map in the game. Instead, it may be seen on the Dragonscale Expedition maps in the north-western region. Blizzard has a history of adding zones in later updates of an expansion. Often at the end of expansions small daily quest zones are added as end game content until the next expansion. In patch 8.2 we also saw the addition of Mechagon, a level 120 zone. Could this be merely an art oversight? Or will Blizzard flip the script and claim that the islands have altered over the time misplaced?

There are a few viable hypotheses on the Reddit post where the map was shared. The most frequent explanation is that a future update will include new content. On their most recent road map, Blizzard stated that patch 10.1 will include the addition of a new zone. Until Dragonflight Season 2, at least, the question of the Dragonflight Mysterious Island is still open.
