Dota WePlay AniMajor 2021: Schedule, Teams, Prize Pool, How to Watch

WePlay AniMajor 2021 is the second major of the year’s seasonal Dota Pro Circuit organized by WePlay Esports. Eighteen teams will compete for their share of $500,000 and 2,700 Pro Circuit Points. Participants include two teams each from North and South America, four teams each from Western Europe and China, and three teams each from Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. The event begins on June 2 and takes place at the WePlay Esports Arena in Kyiv.

WePlay AniMajor 2021 Schedule and Format

Here is the Dota WePlay AniMajor 2021 event schedule:

  • Wild Card: June 2 to June 3
  • Group Stage: June 4 to June 7
  • Playoff: June 9 to June 13

What is the format of the Dota WePlay AniMajor 2021? Each day, the matches are set to begin at 13:00 CET. The Wild Card stage includes six teams in single round-robin, Bo2 matchups. The top two teams advance to the group stage, while the rest are eliminated. The Group Stage includes eight teams in single round-robin, Bo2 matchups. The top two teams advance to upper brackets of the playoffs, while 3rd through 6th place teams advance to the lower brackets of the playoffs. The Playoffs include a double-elimination bracket, with Bo3 matchups, and the grand final, which is a Bo5.
