The original game received several sequels, though the best one was unquestionably Destroy All Humans 2. If you liked the remake of the first game, you’re gonna love the remake of the second one.

Destroy All Humans 2 Announces Release Date

THQ Nordic released a new trailer today showing off some fresh in-game footage of the remake of Destroy All Humans 2. The visuals from the original game have once again been rebuilt, with a little extra help from the new assets created for the first remake.

Just like in the original sequel, we’ll be following Crypto as he seeks vengeance against the Russian KGB for nuking his mothership, all while exploring the state of the world in the 1960s, from mod culture to the free love movement. Travel across various countries and evolve your weaponry and powers to ensure your secret conquest of Earth goes unopposed.

New for this game is full split-screen co-op for the entire story campaign. Grab a buddy and sit on the couch as you control two separate clones of Crypto to terrorize the Earth all over again. Speaking of clones, alongside the sequel remake, THQ Nordic is also releasing Destroy All Humans: Clone Carnage, a standalone multiplayer game. You and your friends, either local or online, can go head-to-head in a variety of wacky game modes. Clone Carnage will be released separately after the main game comes out.

The most important tidbit of info from this new trailer is the release date. Destroy All Humans 2 will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on August 30th, 2022. Pre-orders are open on all platforms now for a base price of $39.99. If you pre-order the game, you’ll also receive free access to Clone Carnage when it launches.
