Can You Sell Weapons in Remnant 2? Answered

A limitless arsenal

The weaponry available in Remnant 2 can guide you towards the best build in the game, dedicated towards your primary and secondary Archetype. Weapons are crucial to builds, alongside the more obvious gameplay mechanic of stat building through killing enemies and bosses. But in this ARPG which focusses on gunplay more than anything, you may find yourself debating strongly between melee and guns as they have unique stats and differences between each subcategory of weapons. Although you may like a certain feel for a particular weapon or find that one has higher headshot damage to others (including melee weapons), you will need to pick one that suits both your Archetype and build you are grinding. This is Vincent’s guide on whether or not you can sell your weapons in Remnant 2.

Is it Possible to Sell Weapons in Remnant 2?

In Remnant: From the Ashes players had no way to dispose of any unwanted weapons that they replaced with bigger and better weaponry for their apocalyptic arsenal. You may have thought that Gunfire Games had made appropriate adjustments to cater towards the demand for selling weapons to the in-game Merchants. Whilst there is a specific area in Remnant 2 to buy and sell called Ward 13, players will have their hopes shattered upon learning that the only thing to sell to the Vendors is Material. Because of this, players are once more trapped with their unwanted goods. Although you can purchase weapons directly from Brabus, just like in the original game (who can be found inside Ward 13), there is no option available to sell weapons to him.

An alternative option to selling your goods is to try the Mutator function in Remnant 2. These act as a way to imbue weapons with unique upgrades that enhance specific aspects of the weapon you wield; such as damage, fire rate, shields, and magazine capacity. You can purchase Mutators via Dwell in Ward 13 or as a dropped item from defeating specific bosses.
