Best Hailing Frequencies in Star Trek Fleet Command

Live Long and Prosper.

As a Star Trek fan, there’s nothing more appealing than adding personalization to any Star Trek experience. Star Trek media, including the TV shows, comic books, movies, and video games, have increased representation for a variety of groups over the years, so every time I get a chance to feel seen in the Star Trek universe, I give it a try. That’s why I love the potential of the hailing frequencies available in Star Trek Fleet command.

Star Trek Fleet Command’s Update 51 brought with it a fantastic new cosmetic feature: hailing frequencies. These allow you to personalize your interactions with other ships and fleets. You earn them via storyline and in-game actions, but you can also get them through the Battle Pass or the shop. They function as emotes.

What Are the Best Hailing Frequencies in Star Trek Fleet Command?

Hailing frequencies really add some personality to your game in Star Trek Fleet Command. Here are the best among them. These are more than sounds: they’re space emojis to convey emotion!

  • Live long and prosper: The characteristic Vulcan greeting represented by the Vulcan hand “V” is a universal message of goodwill in the Star Trek universe.
  • Facepalm: We all know the Captain Picard Star Trek meme that shows him facepalming. Now you can express your frustration with the facepalm-hailing frequency! Now we just need to see a “shirt pull” to demonstrate crisp authority or Riker’s famous “chair straddle” to convey dominance and assertion!
  • Thumbs Up: Convey that it’s all good quickly with a Starfleet uniform sleeve and hand giving that thumbs up.
  • Thumbs Down: Things not going so well? That’s what your thumbs-down is for.

How to Turn Off Hailing Frequencies

If you don’t like hailing frequencies, there is an option to turn them off by sliding the “hailing frequencies enabled” setting to the off position. Don’t forget to enjoy the other Update 51 features, including the Vi’dar Talios ship, available to high-level players.
