Going to start this one off with a heavy warning and disclaimer of very crude and vulgar dialogue. We won’t be quoting the most explicit lines spoken by Nora the fridge in Atomic Heart but we trust you can guess how bad it gets through context clues. The internet has been abuzz about games with bad dialogue lately and the latest contributor seems to be Atomic Heart. The main character isn’t much to write home about but the side character dialogues are quite questionable.
Nora the Freaky Fridge
To start things off, yes, it really is that bad. Whatever hope one might have had that Atomic Heart was presenting a more thought-provoking story based on the very Bioshock-looking aesthetic we had seen over the years… it’s not that.
Sadly Atomic Heart is more a kind of a “Russian Duke Nukem” than any other game. If you like Duke Nukem that’s fine, but pretty sure the vibes are more 2011’s Forever title than the previous ones. However, Nora does say some very clear, overly suggestive lines that might even make old Nukem blush.
“Im here to upgrade your red hot pocket rockets”
“Got a sword? A massive sword?! Thrust it deep into my socket so I can make it sturdier and sharper! You can fill me up with whatever you want big guy!”

There’s no clean way to say this but that really is only a… taste of what Nora has planned for you dialogue-wise. Throughout the game, there are some recurring keywords without going too deep into it. Words like pleasure, punish me, dominant males, lonely, needy… and…. so on. Nora really devolves into what the anime fan would no doubt recognize as yandere behavior. Yandere’s are obsessive and sexually aggressive to the point where you’re worried she’s going to kill you. Believe it too, Nora talks about killing boring men a lot, but not P-3 your control protagonist; he’s special. Or so she says. You can take a look at all of Nora’s advances below.
