How to Get More Ammo in Weird West

Here’s how to get more ammo in Weird West:

  1. Scrap unused weapons you find.
  2. Search through bodies and containers.
  3. Purchase it from merchants.

The easiest way to get more ammo is by scrapping unused weapons you find on bodies or pickup in containers. Instead of letting it fill up your inventory, you can press and hold the “G” key on your keyboard to scrap them. You’ll be finding plenty of low-quality weaponry you won’t be using, and scrapping a weapon will give you two ammo for the corresponding weapon type.

Early on in the game, you’ll be picking up a lot of Sharpst Quick Iron revolvers, Quill & Medley Spiritstouch Revolvers, Stubbs Double-Barrel Shotguns, and Service Rifles. You can scrap all of these, unless you need them, to get some revolver, shotgun, and rifle ammo.

Another way to find ammo is by looting things like containers and chests and searching dead bodies. Any enemy wielding a weapon will likely have some bullets on their person when you take them down.

Also, remember to search through everything in sight. That includes containers, nightstands, chests, bags, and anything capable of holding items. You’ll never know what you might find. It’s common to find slugs just lying out in the open, as well.
