Capcom Reveals Details About Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

Sunbreak introduces a new story and characters

Sunbreak Introduces a New Story and Characters

Today’s Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak event revealed many details about the game. Players who choose to buy the expansion will get to experience a new story as well as brand new characters. The story follows the arrival of a knight named Dame Fiorayne in Kamura Village. He puts out a call for help which the player answers. This will send the player to Elgado Outpost where they can meet new characters such as Bahari, Minayle the Blacksmith, Chichae, and the commander of the Knights of the Royal Order Admiral Galleus.

Since this is Monster Hunter there are, of course, new monsters to hunt as well. These creatures include the Garangolm, the Fanged Wyvern Lunagaron, and the Elder Dragon Malzeno. Players looking to prepare for the upcoming expansion will be glad to know that Capcom is adding new armor sets and weapons to Rise  for this very reason.

Sunbreak will be available on June 30, 2022, for $49.99. Pre-orders are now available. The expansion’s file size is 13 GB across both Nintendo Switch and PC.
