David Guetta is Coming to Roblox for an Epic DJ Party on February 4

Roblox is set to kick off the new year with an event starring the world-famous French DJ David Guetta. The partnership with Warner Music Group will bring an in-game experience to the metaverse, set to premiere on Friday, February 4, at 7 p.m. ET. The pre-show experience, dubbed the David Guetta DJ Party, is already open and available to join.

David Guetta recently won DJ Mag’s Top DJ of 2021 and Best Electronic Artist at the MTV Music Awards in Europe, not to mention a Grammy and three Brit award nominations. The in-game experience will feature an intergalactic set where David Guetta will be performing as his avatar in the metaverse. Attendees can navigate through the dancefloor and check out the neon lights, lazers, holograms, and thumping speakers. 

In addition to the futuristic-looking set, players can participate in DJ and dance battles and try and solve a secret puzzle using special abilities. Virtual merchandise (Verch) will also be for sale and available as exclusive rewards. 

In a post from the company, David Guetta says, “Working on this concert has allowed me to bring an amazing new creation to life with design and production to suit the virtual world. We’ve built something that will play host to one of the most unique shows I’ve ever done and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it with me.”

Our partnership with Roblox will enable him to connect with new fans from all around the world and take them on a journey with him in a way that’s never before been possible.”

In-game Roblox events and collaborations have proven to be an effective way for brands and artists to engage with millions of fans from around the world. Previous events have included stars like Royal Blood, Twenty One Pilots, Ava Max, Why Don’t We, and more.
