Today, 2K showed off the official cover art featuring Rey Mysterio as well as a trailer starring streamer TimTheTatman interacting with various WWE stars. Keen-eyed fans were able to notice details in this trailer that could have been easily missed. During the trailer, there is a shot of Kane chokeslamming Bobby Lashley outside the ring. A Reddit user pointed out that Lashley’s face is actually bruised meaning that the game may be introducing visible scarring or injuries to make the game more realistic.

Other details fans noticed included the list of available general managers in the new MyGM mode and a change person option in the create-a-wrestler mode. In addition to this trailer, new screenshots were released showing off the improved graphics. 2K developers also did an interview where they gave even more details about 2K22.

Speaking to Vybe, these developers revealed that the story mode, MyRise, takes 50 hours to beat if players attempt to finish both the Male and Female storylines. They also revealed that there are improved camera angles to make entrances look cinematic as well as cross platform support for Community Creations.
