The official Blizzard customer support team for the Americas region has reported DDoS attacks have been occurring since this morning. The attacks have subsided, and Blizzard is continuing to actively monitor the situation.
Earlier this morning, Battle.net users were having difficulties logging into the game client and logging into a variety of Blizzard games.

This marks the second time this week where Blizzard has been targeted by DDoS attacks that have subsequently affected their authentication services. As always, Blizzard has done a great job communicating with their followers and resolving the issues promptly.
As of 3:00 PM EST, the attacks are no longer impacting the performance of Blizzard’s networks. They are continuing to monitor the situation and will keep everyone updated from their official customer support Twitter account.
[#Bnet] The DDOS attacks reported on earlier this morning have subsided and are no longer impacting performance. We continue to mitigate and address these attacks as they arise. Thank you for your patience!
