Is Tiger Woods in PGA 2K21

Is Tiger Woods in PGA 2K21?

As many golf gamers know, Tiger hasn’t been featured in a video game in almost eight years (since the release of “Tiger Woods PGA Tour”). And so, when 2K announced earlier this year that the 15-time major champion was set to return to the video game realm, fans were beyond ecstatic for the massive partnership. With so many surrounding rumors on the game’s biggest star, it leaves many to wonder if Tiger Woods is in PGA 2K21.

Is Tiger Woods in PGA 2K21?

The short answer is no; Tiger Woods is not in PGA 2K21. Unfortunately for golf fanatics, PGA 2K21 will not have Tiger Woods available to play within the game since he is not currently listed as a licensed golfer with this year’s version of PGA 2K.

This leaves many people confused because back in March 2021, 2K Sports announced the official partnership with Tiger on a long-term deal. The issue is that the deal between Tiger and 2K hadn’t been made official until after the development of PGA 2K21, and so fans will likely have to wait to see Tiger back in action.

The good news is that it’s a long-term deal in which Tiger will be directly involved with the development of all future games within the 2K franchise. 2K has full rights to use Tiger’s name and likeness exclusively for years to come, but Woods is expected to serve as the Executive Director and consultant for all future 2K installments.

Ever since the release of Tiger Woods PGA Tour back in 2013, video games worldwide have been trying to make up for the loss of golf’s grandest superstar. And with so many games coming and going throughout the years, it was only a matter of time until a deal was reached for some major gaming company to partner with the legend himself, Tiger Woods.
