New Ships and Commanders

In this latest update, players can take advantage of several new cruisers and battleships. To start, a trio of American Hybrid Battleships will be made available either via purchasing them outright, or via the game’s Premium Battle Pass. In addition, players will notice that the Tech Tree will include Japanese cruisers.

And, with the new “The Age of Sa Zhenbing” collection, those with an appreciation for Chinese warfare can potentially nab a variety of prizes. Such prizes not only include free access to premium, but also the chance to unlock the famed admiral himself! To become eligible to win said prizes, participate in combat missions or partake of daily random bundles to earn elements from the collection. If you so choose, you can opt to purchase these elements, but that’s up to you.

Improved Battle Types

Included in this update is an improved version of the ‘Dirigible Derby’ battle type, this time nicknamed ‘Airship Escort.’ The objective of this battle type is to “escort[ing] an indestructible airship along a fixed route, with the objective being to either beat the opposing team to the end of the route or destroy all of their ships in the process,” according to the press release.

In speaking of new modes, it should be noted that Ranked Battles are back on the menu! There will be a 6v6 mode that will feature not only battleships and cruisers, but destroyers and aircraft carriers, as well!

Last, but certainly not least, there will be a new line of combat missions introduced in a number of weeks. If you finish these missions, you’ll earn a unique currency known as American Tokens. Use these Tokens to earn an assortment of rewards, including camouflages, bundles, XP, and more. To finish off this new line of missions, a new commander based on the Statue of Liberty will be available for redemption.
