We’ve all been there. Remember a time where it was fun picking a class or a race? There was a class for every scenario. That can be tricky if you’re new to the MMORPG world. What is considered the best class? Should you pick a class because it’s simply the best or because it’s something that feels right? Whatever you decide on picking here’s our recommendation on what’s the best class in WoW.

WoW Best Class

At first you’re wondering what the difference classes represent. Classes are simple. They determine what type of a fighter you’re going to become. Whether that’s a healer, warrior, ranger the list goes on. There are currently 12 active classes you can pick. This is completely up to how you like to play the game. For us, healing is what we like to do. Secondary would have to be range. Perhaps you don’t like playing from a distance and you enjoy being a tank? Out of all the classes which one would you consider to be WoW best class?

DPS (Melee) WoW Best Class

You have decided that you wanted to be come a DPS player. You want to deal tons of damage to all of the surrounding enemies. That’s fair. Playing a DPS class can be exciting because your job is to take down anyone that’s deemed a threat. So, you want to play the best class in WoW and that’s why you’re here? Here’s our opinion on what the best DPS melee class is in WoW. It would have to be a tie between Rogue and Hunter. Here’s why:

Rogue has their own class of specials they can use in battle called Assassinations. Once you strike your enemies will be inflicted with poison. Their damage hits enemies pretty hard and during raids you will see them dominating the field. As for Hunter, well, Hunter is great if you’re wanting a class that levels up fast. Their base power is already higher than others, which means, they’re useful when soloing. Playing as a Hunter is a lot of fun and is typically picked due to their power.

DPS (Range) WoW Best Class

Range is probably one of our favorites because we love fighting from a distance. You can also literally save someone’s life by taking down an enemy that’s in the area they’re not aware of. If you’re looking for a class that specializes in range abilities you’re going to want to snag Warlock. Warlocks are cool because they use dark magic and have demon pets to help take down enemies. That’s probably why this makes them the best class is because they have pets to help you out. They’re also incredible to use when you’re farming due to them not using up mana. Lastly, when you’re fighting baddies in raids, you can deal quite a lot of damage with their Affliction and Destruction specs.

Tank WoW Best Class

You want to show the boss what you’re made of? You literally want to go head on to take down the biggest baddie? That’s brave and commendable. Tanks can be difficult to work with but if you have a real passion for it, man it’s fun. Similar to the DPS role, we have two tank classes, that we think would be the best when choosing a class. Those tank roles are Druid and Death Knight. Why are these classes the best if you’re looking for a tank role? Here are the reasons why:

Druid is useful because they can literally be used for any type of role in the game. If you want to use them as a tank or healer you can. If you’re looking for something versatile than adding a Druid is the way to go. In terms of a Death Knight they can heal themselves quickly. This means you’ll have a tank who doesn’t need to rely on a healer solely. The slight issues is they do take damage from healing themselves but it’s very small. These heavily armored classes use melee and dark magic to fight enemies and their specs are fun to use during raids.

Healer WoW Best Class

Healing isn’t for everyone. For some reason, if you’re a beginner, players will think they have to attack. If you don’t know how to use a healer or the spells needed to heal it can be difficult. You are basically the mother of your team. You take care of everyone there. Some would say healing the tank is the most important and then heal your DPS team, but your play style, is up to you. If we’re looking for the best healer it’s going to be a tie between Paladin and Priest. Reasons for these being on the list are:

Paladin doesn’t use up a lot of mana and if you’re wearing the right armor you can go into raids at ease. Paladin’s also have a spec called Beacon of Light they are a great pick as a healer. If you’re looking for a class that can do it all you’re going to want to become a Priest. A priest can support, heal, and give buffs to team mates with no problems. If you manage to become a pro at all of these aspects you’ll become a great healer. It’s also a class you’d want to play if you’re a beginner in WoW…speaking of beginner…

Beginner’s WoW Best Class

If you’re a beginner at WoW you have absolutely zero knowledge over what each class does. You probably tried looking online and watched tutorials on what class would suit you best. This is why you’re here because you want to find the best class that will suit your play style. We will make this quick. Hunter is the best class you can pick if you’re a beginner, as well as, demon hunter. Hunters can tame animals, they’re user-friendly, and you can pick them up without becoming confused. They’re incredibly flexible which is why these classes are the best for beginners.
