The third installment of the Hitman reboot trilogy is almost upon us. I can already feel the light gleaming off of Agent 47’s bald head. While the general gameplay of this installment will be similar to the previous two games, its next-gen compatibility promises some truly beautiful sights to take in, even more so with PlayStation VR support. If you’ve still got your save data from the previous games, you can also carry it over!

After definitively knocking it out of the park with Shovel Knight, everyone’s been rife with anticipation to see what hot shot indie devs Yacht Club Games bring us next. If you’re a fan of classic shinobi sidescrollers like Ninja Gaiden and Strider, as well as their contemporaries like The Messenger, you’re gonna love Cyber Shadow, with its futuristic style and breakneck pace that’ll really keep you on your toes.

On December 13th, 2014, Ubisoft’s tie-in game to the theatrical release of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World was delisted from all digital marketplaces. For years, people have begged for its return, not only out of fondness for its namesake series, but out of love of a genuinely fantastic multiplayer beat ‘em up. Finally, this modern classic is making its return, complete with a few graphical touch-ups and all of the DLC included. I can’t wait to hear that beautiful chiptune soundtrack again.

Olija – January 28

When it comes to Devolver Digital, you can usually expect either wacky, over-the-top games, or deep, introspective experiences. Olija is of the latter category, following a shipwrecked sailor lost in a strange, foreign land, armed only with a magical harpoon. Don’t let the simple pixel graphics fool you, this game is anything but basic.

The Medium – January 28

The Medium is a psychological horror game from the developers of the Blair Witch Project. You’ll be investigating the murder of a child as a medium, with the ability to switch between the real world and a supernatural version of it. The game is set to launch at the end of January on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
