Pokemon Home Event Research Tasks and Rewards

In celebration of Pokemon Go and Pokemon Home now being fully integrated, the Pokemon Home Event is underway in Pokemon. There are new timed research tasks and rewards to complete for all players. There are also some bonuses, like Pokemon appearing more frequently and the return of Shiny Meltan. Here’s a look at the Pokemon Home Event research tasks and rewards.

Several new Pokemon appear in the wild more frequently, including the legendary Swords of Justice Pokemon: Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion. You can also find the following Pokemon in raids during the event: Slowpoke, Magnemite, Shinx, Timburr, Klink, Alolan Vulpix, and more. 

The Pokemon appearing more frequently in the wild are:

• Zubat
• Lileep
• Ditto
• Sandshrew (Alolan)
• Diglett (Alolan)
• Magnemite
• Porygon
• Foongus
• Hoothoot
• Whismur
• Remoraid
• Anorith
• Cottonee

Eggs also hatch some specific Pokemon during the Home Event, with 5km Eggs hatching Omanyte, Slowpoke, Nidoran, Kabuto, Anorith, and Lileep.

The Pokemon Home Event runs from November 17 through November 23 at 10 PM Local Time.

• Transfer 5 Pokemon: Pokeball x10
• Use 10 Berries to help catch Pokemon: Nidoran encounter
• Catch 10 Pokemon: Razz Berries x3
• Rewards: Stardust x500, Mega Pideot Energy x20, Slowpoke Encounter

• Evolve three Pokemon: Pokeballs x20
• Use 15 Berries to catch Pokemon: Nidoran Encounter
• Catch 20 Pokemon: Pinap Berries x3
• Rewards: Stardust x1000, Mega Pideot Energy, Ponyta Encounter

• Catch ten different species of Pokemon: Great Ball x15
• Win two Raids: Litwick Encounter
• Catch 30 Pokemon: Slowpoke Encounter
• Rewards: Stardust x1000, Mega Pidgeot Energy x50, Absol Encounter

• Claim Reward: Mega Pidgeot Energy x30
• Rewards: Stardust x1000, Mega Pidgeot Energy x30, Gible Encounter

Pokemon Home Event Field Research

During the event, you can collect a few exclusive field research tasks. You can complete many of these after the event is over, as long as you accept them beforehand. Here is a list of the Pokemon Home Event Field Research:

• Catch two different species of Pokemon: Nidorin Encounter
• Give your buddy three treats: Slowpoke Encounter
• Win two Raids: Dratini Encounter
• Catch 30 Pokemon: Stardust x1500
