NBA 2K22: How to fix the elevator bug

NBA 2K22 is undoubtedly one of the hottest games out right now. However, many players have already come across some notable setbacks, not the least of which includes the most recent “elevator bug,” which prevents players from using the elevator in NBA 2K22. To help you fix this issue, we’ve put together the following guide. 

How to fix the Elevator Bug in NBA 2K22

1. Walk up to the elevator in Promenade
2. Use your phone to fix the “elevator bug”
3. Try the elevator in MyCourt/practice facility
4. Go to the Pro-Am

Numerous NBA 2K22 players have reported a bug that causes the elevator to stop working, along with an “Unable to Connect to Server’ message. 

As you can imagine, this can be quite frustrating for players as it totally immobilizes you in the game, preventing you from traveling to any of the other areas of NBA 2K22. You’ll be unable to progress any further in the game as a result.

While there is no official solution from 2K Games, online forums have already provided a few quick fixes to help you get through this undesirable scenario. 

1. One easy method that has worked for various people is simply walking up to the Promenade elevator. If the bug occurs, run away from the elevator and return to it a few more times. Generally, if you repeat this, you may be able to connect. 
2. Another method is to use your phone to fix the NBA 2K22 elevator bug. Begin by checking through your friend’s list, and look for anyone who’s currently playing the game. Then, invite them to your neighborhood to play. Doing this will allow you to join up with them and connect with the place you want to go.
3. Alternatively, several players have noted that the elevator in NBA 2K22 MyCourt seems to display the ‘Unable to Connect to Server’ message far less often. The same goes for the elevator in the practice facility. So, you can try either one of these elevators instead. 
4. If all else fails, you can try going to the Pro-Am and heading over to the area where you buy clothes. Then, run back to where it says ‘lobby’ and enter. This method seems to work the majority of the time.
