NBA 2K22: How to complete The Come Up: Toe the Line

NBA 2K22’s The Come Up: Toe the Line bug prevents players from progressing in the early stages in the game and instead keeps referring to the players as starters, even if they already are. So, you can imagine how many players have grown increasingly frustrated after realizing this.

It completely halts your progress in the game, and you’ll be presented with a quest asking you to “Play NBA games and meet your updated objectives to become a starter.”

The issue is that your player is already a starter for their respective team. Players have also noted that the game will display the following message; “It’s time for your next NBA game. Show out to prove you deserve to be a starter.”

Solution #1:

Online forums have already started to blow up with potential solutions for players. The first is to;

  • Talk to Coach Graves.
  • Talk to the Head Coach
  • Do a Team Practice
  • Select your own drills, do all four

After you complete these four steps, go back and talk to Graves again.

By doing this, you may find that this helps you move on to the next quest in your MyCareer.

Solution #2:

Another way to solve this is to achieve a given number of highlight plays in one game. Alternatively, scoring over 40 points in two games is another possible quest bug fix.

The good news is that if this The Come Up: Toe the Line glitch has happened to you, then you’re not alone. The bad news is that even though 2k is aware of this bug, there’s no timeframe as to when it will get fixed.
