The Star Wars games since Disney purchased the franchise in 2012 haven’t had the best reputation. EA’s Battlefront games were criticized for their inclusion of microtransactions and a lack of content and Star Wars 1313 was canceled along with several other unannounced games from EA. With the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the redemption of Battlefront II, things started to change. That change will continue with the upcoming release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Skywalker Saga is Coming This Spring
The wait is finally over for Star Wars fans as the highly anticipated LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is finally releasing in the Spring. On April 5, players can experience the story of the nine films in the Skywalker Saga thanks to the game’s campaign mode. Skywalker Saga will introduce new mechanics never seen before in a LEGO game.
For instance, combo attacks can now be done in combat. There is also precision aiming with the blaster allowing for more accurate shots against enemies. An upgrade system has now been added to the game. Collecting items known as Kyber bricks will allow players to upgrade the abilities of characters in the game’s many classes such as Jedi, Bounty Hunter, and Villain.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is now available for preorder across digital storefronts. It will come out on April 5 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
