Is Wild Hearts Deluxe Edition Worth It? Answered

As with most games these days, Wild Hearts is making the jump from the crow favorite $59.99 price tag, up to the modern $69.99 one that EA’s been popularizing as of late. So with the base game alone going for $70, is a deluxe edition something that you really have in the cards?

Well, though games are going up in price these days, that doesn’t halt the option for the most eager of fans from spending a bit more to get exclusive in-game items. Wild Hearts is no exception, offering players a deluxe edition titled, Kakakuri Edition. This edition of the game costs players a whopping $89.99, $20 over the standard. But with such a high price hike, you should be getting some pretty sweet stuff. Right?

Armor Sets

  • Karakuri Samurai
  • Karakuri Ninja

Emotes

  • Fighting Spirit
  • Grovel
  • Conch

Decoratives

  • Decorative Tsukumo Lantern

If you ask me, personally, $89.99 is a lot to spend on a game. Especially one where the only special items you get are exclusive armors and emotes. The problem with this game specifically though is that none of these items really feel like they warrant spending more money on the game.

I mean, the armors are drab browns with barely any nuances of color. I’d say to steer clear of the deluxe edition of Wild Hearts unless you know that you’ll enjoy the game and need those items in the long run. But I’d still say that it isn’t worth it.

So, now you have a better understanding of whether or not you’re going to want to spend the extra moola on Wild Hearts’ deluxe Kakakuri edition.
