Hogwarts Legacy, the newest Harry Potter videogame from Avalanche Studios, has quickly stolen the hearts of many gamers. This fantasy game does indeed take place in the magical universe that J.K. Rowling created, but keeps itself separate from the plot of the original series that served as its influence and takes place in an age before the events of the first Harry Potter books—the 1800s. Where Do I Get the Lilac Ensemble?
Avalanche Software, the game’s creator, has done something unique that many other videogames hasn’t in regards to cosmetics. In Hogwarts Legacy, certain outfits require you to watch streamers on Twitch (in the real world) to unlock them. The Lilac Ensemble is one of these items! Therefore, to achieve this Twitch-exclusive cosmetic, you will need to watch someone streaming the game on the platform.
Firstly, be sure to connect your Warner Bros. account to Twitch through ‘Other Connections’ in the Settings menu if you haven’t done so already. Then, you will need to watch streams that specifically say they have Hogwarts Legacy Drops Enabled to earn four exclusive cosmetics, including the Lilac Ensemble, one every half an hour. This cosmetic is the one that takes two hours to receive, but it is definitely the best-looking one and thus worth the time and effort.
