How to Get the Dr. Strange Fortnite Skin

I, like many people who grew up with Marvel stuff, had a passing familiarity with Dr. Strange in the old days. He didn’t have his own cartoons or video games, and I didn’t have access to the comics, so all I could really glean about him came from cameos in other heroes’ stuff. With his portrayal by Benedict Cumberbatch in the MCU, though, Strange swiftly became one of Marvel’s most popular heroes thanks to his mystic moves and deadpan delivery. It figures, then, that it was only a matter of time before he’d get the call to the Island. Here’s how to get the Dr. Strange Fortnite skin.

With the beginning of Chapter 3, Season 2 of Fortnite over the weekend, a whole bunch of new stuff has been added, both in terms of the game’s mechanics and new cosmetic swag to unlock. One major piece of swag is the new Dr. Strange skin, complete with several additional cosmetic items. If you want this stuff, though, not only are you gonna have to cough up for it, but you’ll also have to work for it.

How to Get the Dr. Strange Fortnite Skin

The Dr. Strange skin and cosmetics are all included as part of the new Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 Battle Pass, which means the only way to get all of it is by purchasing the premium Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks (or about $8.00 USD). You specifically need the Premium pass here; the free track won’t cut it.

Once you have the Premium Battle Pass, you’re gonna have to grind up enough XP to work your way to the back of the rewards, as the Dr. Strange stuff isn’t unlocked until page 10. That means getting to level 90 just to unlock page 10, then buying every other item on the page to get to the very end, ultimately unlocking the Dr. Strange stuff at level 100.

If you put in all that work, you’ll unlock all of the following cosmetic items:

  • Dr. Strange player skin
  • Book of Cagliosto backbling
  • Spellwork Scimitar pickaxe
