How to Find the Revolver and Shotgun in Endoparasitic

No one enjoys the idea of having the majority of their limbs torn off and being injected with a random parasite. Solo developer Narayan Walters on the other hand, thought this premise would make for a great horror game. Tasked with saving your research before it’s lost forever, players take on the role of a scientist in Endoparasitic. This unique top down survival horror game pushes the boundaries of conventional gaming by forcing the player to manually operate everything in the game. From movement, to reloading, to injecting yourself with syringes to stop the parasite burrowing to your brain, all of these functions can be achieved by acting as the character would in game: using only one hand.

Having only one hand to maneuver around the dark and damp environment, players will want to ‘arm’ themselves with as many weapons as they can find. There are multiple weapons to be found strewn around the secret research lab. Finding the revolver and the sawed off shotgun specifically is tantamount to surviving to the very end of the game. Let’s flex our one armed muscle and figure out how to find the revolver and shotgun in Endoparasitic.

How to Find the Revolver and Shotgun in Endoparasitic

Moving around the laboratory with only about a foot of visible distance can prove quite challenging when having to find these weapons. The first weapon that players will be able to collect is the revolver.

How to Find the Revolver

To find this weapon players will need to make their way to the first save point. After reaching the save point and dodging the mutated monstrosity, players will then need to move upwards and to the left toward a long hallway. Players will find the revolver next to a dead corpse in the middle of the hallway along with 12 bullets.

How to Find the Shotgun

The next weapon we are going to grab will be the sawed off shotgun. After making your way through more of the game, players will wind up in an area with a series of locked doors.

These doors will need to activated in order to gain access to the shotgun. Navigate past a few mutated monsters while going upwards and to the right before going down into a hallway. This right side area comes equipped with a syringe and revolver bullets. Keep going down, and after dealing with the last monster in the bottom right, activate the door switches to the left and right. The left door will allow you to make your way back to the shotgun room without having to go up and around.

Without leaving the area make your way through the door that was just opened to the right. Quickly silence the small mutated monster in the room and you will be rewarded with a save point and more pistol ammo. Before leaving this room make sure and activate the door switch in the middle of the room. Once all of these steps have been completed players will be able to go back toward the shotgun room through the newly unlocked door to the left. The shotgun room will be open presenting you with a new weapon as well as another save point and syringe.

A revolver and shotgun aren’t the only weapons that can be found in Endoparasitic. Devices such as a flare gun and crossbow will also be available to grab at other various points in the game. Having a limited ammo inventory system requires the player to think carefully about which weapon they will use when taking down the mutations. Learning how to find the revolver and shotgun in Endoparasitic should be considered a necessity for the advancement of science. Now it’s up to you to use the tools and talent to survive this apocalyptic nightmare.
