How to Find and Complete Pentagram Ritual in Demonologist

Possibly the least threatening Ritual you can conduct in all of Video Game history

Demonologist has proven to be far more popular than most would have anticipated for this Ghost Hunting Horror Game. As other Ghost Hunting Games such as Phasmophobia have consistently retained their audience’s attention, Demonologist has not had long to do the same. This has been a Horror Game that many Content Creators and viewers alike have indulged many hours into, to the point that a lot of it can feel predictable or repetitive due to the standard progression of levelling up and seeing out a match. But Clock Wizard Games are aware of this and with their v0.3.0 update, they added new Optional Objectives to keep their players happy and on their toes for every match they enter. This is our guide on how to complete Pentagram Rituals in Demonologist.

What are Pentagram Rituals in Demonologist?

Pentagram Rituals are just one of the new Optional Objectives added into the game. When this is one of the Objectives to complete so that you can unlock the Exorcism Objective, players need to locate the Pentagram that will appear randomly on the floor across the Map that you are currently on. The Pentagram Ritual is a randomized Objective, therefore it is not guaranteed to appear in every game. Because of this, it is important that players head to HQ/Camp to check the Monitor for the next Objectives as looking for the Salt Gun, Time of Death or getting the Ghost to blow out a Candle may not always be relevant.

The Pentagram Rituals spawn across all of the Maps and are simple to complete once you know exactly what to do when you spot one. You only need to complete a single Ritual to move onto the next Optional Objective in Demonologist.

How to Complete Pentagram Rituals

When the Pentagram Ritual shows on the Optional Objective Board, these will spawn across the Map. There is a total of 3 spawns per Map and they should be found inside areas that have a large surface area to work with. The Pentagram does not always spawn in the Entity Room, so you will need to search for it. Unlike Pentagrams in order Horror Games, this appears as a much more inviting looking light show, with the Pentagram shifting on the ground like a high school presentation on a projector. You are looking for a black shifting Pentagram projection on the floor. What you need to do when you find one is to stand on it and wait for approximately 30 seconds.

As you stand you will hear a ticking sound, this will speed up the longer you stand on the Pentagram. We recommend bringing in a Crucifix just in case the entity decides to Hunt you as you are completing this Objective. When you have stood on it for 30 seconds, the Pentagram will change from its starting black color to a red. You can see the lines of the Pentagram Rituals filling up to red, with the black disappearing as a form of progression bar to refer to on how long to stand around for. When the ticking stops and the Pentagram is now fully red, it will disappear and the Objective can be ticked off as completed allowing you to move onto the next or begin the Exorcism.
