It’s a good idea for new players to explore each map to unlock all the outposts. You can visit all the lookout points and survey the location to look for nearby outposts. By doing this, you get an overhead view of the outposts, so you know where to go next. When you get to an outpost, interact with the flagpole to permanently add it to your map. You can then fast travel between all those outpost locations, which will save you a ton of time instead of running between areas.

After unlocking an outpost, pull up your map and click on the outpost location. A drop-down menu should pop up with the options to Place Waypoint, Remove Waypoint, and Fast Travel. Click on fast travel, and the game loads you up into that exact spot.

If you have any friends who play this game that already have everything unlocked, you can join a multiplayer game with them and visit their tents. Have them set up a tent near each outpost, and you can fast travel to those to quickly unlock the Fast Travel waypoints. You may also be able to join public multiplayer games and accomplish the same thing.

Another thing to note is that you can use ATVs to quickly traverse the map. If the host of any multiplayer game owns the DLC and the “allow vehicles” option is enabled (which it is by default), you can also use the ATV to get around quickly. That’s how to fast travel in theHunter Call of the Wild.
