There are currently 36 playable characters in Overwatch with many of its most notable roster having been in the game ever since its earliest conception of its pre-release in 2016. D.Va or rather Hana Song is a South Korean mecha pilot and former pro gamer from Busan. She is one of the eleven Tank Heroes in the game (as of writing this) who traverses the battleground with her trusty mech, making her a force to be reckoned with for having two lives, infinite ammo and an instant kill Ultimate with her Self-Destruct bomb. Her bubbly persona that effectively links to her origins of being a professional gamer makes her an easily loveable Hero to cheer on.
But back to the big question here. Originally, D.Va was meant to be much younger than what her given age ended up being upon the game’s release. Her original design and age had her at 16 years old. That is unlike the official age she is when Overwatch originally released in 2016 – 19 years old.
But how old is she now that Overwatch 2 has hit? Well, since Overwatch 2 is meant to take place after the original Overwatch within the space of a year, this would make D.Va now 20 years old.
