Back 4 Blood’s Tunnels of Terror Expansion Receives a Launch Trailer

Turtle Rock Studios’ Back 4 Blood is a spiritual successor to the company’s other popular zombie franchise Left 4 Dead. The game launched last fall and received a winter update. Since then, there have been minor updates such as the addition of Streamer mode and February’s Double Supply Point Weekend. This month, the game’s first DLC expansion titled Tunnels of Terror will be released. Today, a trailer from Turtle Rock gives more details about it.

The Expansion Introduces Two New Playable Characters 

In Tunnels of Terror, players will encounter Ridden Hives which are the game’s versions of dungeons. These Hives contain new enemies such as Urchins, Shredders, and Rippers and can be completed in co-op. The new enemies are also usable in the game’s PvP modes. Players can slay these new enemies with the help of two new characters: Sharice and Heng.

Both characters come with their own unique perks: Sharice can buff the entire party’s health and armor while Heng can easily find Hive entrances and gear. Along with new characters and enemies, the expansion adds new legendary weapons, character skins, weapon skins, and more.

Tunnels of Terror will be released on April 12. All players in a party together can access the expansion for free as long as one player owns it.
