All Puzzle Solutions in Act 6 The Entropy Centre

Bring on the new puzzle mechanic, the Bridge³

Welcome back to The Entropy Centre. It is time to beat every Act 6 puzzle. We’re nearly halfway now. Earth is praying for our safety. The cataclysmic event waits for no one. Here is our guide on how to beat Act 6 in Stubby Games’ time-bending, mind-blowing adventure puzzle game. Let’s get solving!

All Puzzle Solutions in Act 6 The Entropy Centre

Act 6 Intro

The intro to Act 6 is a simple fetch quest. You need to find the 2 power supplies for the door. The first can be found by heading up the right staircase. From here you need to rewind 3 power supplies to open the locked door. Just follow the black cables to the corresponding power supplies. There is a power supply inside the room. Once you have opened this door, grab it and take it back to the main door. Place it into the wall.

Next, head to the opposite staircase. From here you can jump onto the cable car. Whilst standing on it, rewind until you see an opened window with a room on the left. Jump inside and head to the hole in the wall in the back.

Turn left and look inside the locked room. You will see a fallen shelving unit blocking the door. Rewind the unit so that the door is unlocked. Head inside and pick up the second power supply. Return to the cable car and head back down (just press ‘Stop Rewinding’ for the car to go back to the main door). Place the supply into the wall and hit rewind on both power supplies to unlock the main door.

Puzzle 0601

Act 6 introduces a new puzzle mechanic once more. These are Cube Bridges. Just place the cube down and a walkable holographic bridge will appear from it. Treat these as though they are ordinary boxes, creating trails to hit switches whilst simultaneously using the cubes to get across large gaps. Puzzle 0601 shows players how to use the cube bridge.

  • Create a trail starting on the exit door switch to your right. Place the cube on here first.
  • Then pick it up and place the cube on the edge of the platform, pointing the bridge towards the other side.
  • Walk across the bridge to the other side.

From here just turn around and rewind the cube until it is back on top of the switch. You can now go up the stairs and head on through the exit doors as they will now be open. The puzzles are about to get a lot harder from here on out.

Puzzle 0602

Moving onto puzzle 0602. You will need to use the cube bridge to gain access to the back of the room where the exit door is located. But there are walls blocking your path to the door. In this puzzle you need to create 2 trails, 1 for the cube bridge and another for the box in order to get around the walls.

  • First, place the cube bridge on the purple square (as seen in the screenshot above).
  • Next place the cube to the left, on the edge of the platform so that you can walk across to the other side where the switches are.
  • Walk across the bridge where you will see 2 switches and a box.
  • Place the box on the right switch first (opens a door) and then onto the left switch (this operates the extendable bridge).
  • Head back to the cube bridge via the extendable bridge and place the cube in the middle of the extendable bridge (refer to the screenshot below)

Here you will see how the cube bridge trail should look. For the rewind, the cube bridge will go to the edge of the platform and then back onto the purple square. The box across the bridge will go onto the door switch.

  • Head across the cube bridge and turn left onto the staircase. Go up the stairs and look over the edge where you will see the cube and box.

  • The first thing you need to do here is rewind the cube bridge. If you rewind the box first the cube will fall, and you will have to restart every step again.
  • Rewind the cube until it is back on the purple square, the first point of the trail.

  • With the cube off the bridge, you can now rewind the box. Rewind until it is on the door switch underneath you.
  • Head back down the stairs and you should see the cube bridge to your left. If you were unable to rewind to the purple square just look through the gaps in the wired walls to rewind the cube again.

  • Jump onto the cube bridge and turn left.
  • You will see an opening to your left again, jump off and head to the exit door.

Puzzle 0603

In the next Act 6 puzzle you need to find a way to get onto the pillars in the middle of the room. To do this you need to create a trail with both the jump pad and the cube bridge. The goal is to create 2 bridges. 1 for you to jump off to add height onto the jump pad and the other to use as a bridge to the exit door. Here’s what you do:

  • First, place the jump pad in the middle of the two pillars.
  • Move the pad to the left side of the left pillar (refer to screenshot below for where to place the pad).
  • Next, move the cube bridge onto the left side of the staircase, placing it at the edge of the platform.
  • Pick the cube bridge up once more and place it on the opposite side (the right side of the staircase). Again, placing it at the edge of the platform.
  • From here, walk across the bridge until you are next to the left pillar.

  • Fall onto the jump pad so that you gain enough height to get on top of the left pillar.
  • Rewind the jump pad until it is in between both pillars.
  • Jump onto the pad to get onto the right pillar.

  • Next, rewind the cube bridge to sit on the opposite side of the staircase. The cube will give you a bridge directly next to the right pillar.
  • Jump onto the cube bridge from the right pillar (see screenshots below).

  • When you are on top of the cube bridge, walk to the end to get to the exit door.

If you want to get extra story intel, angle the cube square at the beginning of the puzzle on the top right side of the staircase to get to the room on the left side of the exit door (you can see where the room is on the screenshot below).

Puzzle 0604

The last Act 6 puzzle stumped me for a good 10 minutes. I always overcomplicate the solution when there is a Time Gate involved. For this puzzle there are 2 switches, 1 operates the exit door, the other operates the Time Gate. You need to find a way to get the cube bridge past the Time Gate. But the only object that can be moved and rewound is the cube bridge. So how do we do this? Here’s the solution.

  • First, place the cube bridge on the exit door switch.

  • Next, take the cube over to the edge of the highest level (you will see a purple line on the edge).
  • Get as close to the edge as you can. Hold the cube over the edge and drop it onto the floor. You need to make sure that you aren’t holding the cube too far over the edge because you need to be able to grab it later on in the rewind. Aim for holding the cube below you and the edge but drop it as close as you can towards the edge itself.
  • Fall to the ground floor. DO NOT go through the Time Gate or you will lose your rewind trail.
  • Move the cube bridge onto the Time Gate switch.

  • The trail is ready to be rewound so head up the stairs to the first floor and walk past the Time Gate (which will be turned off).
  • Go to the edge of the platform and look over the left side.
  • Begin rewinding the cube until it is floating mid-air in front of you.

  • When you are rewinding it should look something like the screenshot below. From here you can grab the cube. Do not click ‘Stop Rewind’, just let go off the rewind button and you can grab the cube with the interact key.

  • After grabbing the cube place down on the purple square behind you. This will create a bridge for you to walk across.
  • Go across the bridge and look back.

Your trail will appear similar to the trail in the screenshot below. When you rewind from here, your goal is to get the cube back onto the exit door switch up top. Because you dropped the cube from the second floor, starting from the switch, you are able to rewind it back to this position.

  • Rewind until the cube is on the top floor, on the exit door switch.

  • With the cube now on the exit door switch you can head on through, completing this Act 6 puzzle.

Act 6 Ending

The outro to Act 6 is similar to Act 1 as the area around you is falling apart as you move through it. With the water silo flooding, you have to run to the top, rewinding any debris that is falling on top of you and the staircases in front. There is only one route to go so just stay alert and fully rewind every object whenever you can.

When a giant pillar with a painted arrow on it falls, rewind it halfway so that it creates a bridge for you to get across to the other side. After this you can get out of the water silo.
